Decent book but alot of errors in the Horton lineage from IRA JOSEph Horton back to Barnabus Caleb Johnathon Jonathon to IRAI have gone back to England to Alan de Horton

This book is okay for the first several generations, but it is very limited and in some places inaccurate. For the Horton genealogist, however, it is a must. But you have to have other sources, other old Horton books, and especially good documentation.

Great book, half way through it. At this point unable to find my Horton ancestor. Know it's not Barnabas, hoping it is one of his descendants.

Since I am researching the family it is just was I needed.

This is a valuable old genealogy, one of several produced about 100 years ago. It has some major errors, but it is still useful to someone wishing to flesh out the earliest Horton lines. It cannot be used alone. Primary sources must be consulted.
